๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ love when youโre making the chilli hahaha but looked lovely when finished ! Very helpful video Iโm going to try all the recipes! Love your videos ๐
Iโm not so good at cooking and my Daughter has been round to help me batch cook today so I can fill my freezer ๐ I think a slow cooker would really help me out. You have inspired me, thank you! ๐
Great inspo – I like lifting the lid of 30 mins before I find it helps thicken sauces or a tiny bit of cornflower ๐ I love making a beef joint in mine, jacket potatoes and fajitas x
If you love kebabs you can make a really nice homemade lamb doner kebab in the slow cooker ๐
Love these recipes .Good luck with all future videos
I'm forwarding on this to my daughter who is learning to cook and got a slow cooker for Christmas, perfect timing x
The chilli looked sooo good. Its actually sunny and spring like today in the north east but still a bit cold. I always do pulled pork or gammon in my slow cooker, itโs a family favourite. Maybe you could try chopping your fresh peppers with a serrated edge knife as they pepper skins (and tomatoes) can really dull your blade. I love slow cooker recipes , keep them coming! X
Beery barley Beef prep time 15 mins high 6-7 hours serves 4 1 and quarter-pound lean stewing beef cubed, 1onion chopped, 1 tablespoon plain flour 8oz carrots diced 8oz parsnips or potatoes diced half a pint light Ale 1 quarter pint beef stock, small bunch mixed herbs or herbs in a jar 3 and a quarter oz pearl barley. salt and pepper. put all ingredients in the slow cooker, cover with lid serve with croutons 6-7 hours , serve.
The slow cooker meals look amazing.
Great video sending luv fae Bonnie Scotland ๐๐
Lovely recipes, thank you! The easiest way to peel garlic is to bash each clove with the flat side of the knife – the skin comes off really easily.
As soon as you said about having a day where you donโt have to think about cooking, I was on board! New subscriber ๐ these are the kind of tips we need and also love the kitchen revamp ๐ต
Thank you for sharing! That sausage casserole looks amazing. Iโm heading to Lidl this morning ๐
you absolutely exuberate love, kindness, and warmth through your videos….. you come across as a wonderful person… would love to meet you someday…. im from India btw…..love your videos…
๐ถ looks lovely xx
Lovely delish slow cooker meals there โฆ.. although we are a meat / fish eating house hold your recipes will be really easy to adapt โฆ. I might even sneak some of those veggie sausages in instead of meaty ones lol .. many thanks for sharing and for the tasty inspiration xx
May sound odd.. But! Rub your fingers on your tap, or anything metal.. It removes the garlic smell! Great video
It's 2 a.m. as im watching… now starving !
I had the vegetarian chilli today, delish and perfect for comfort food during this crazy weather in Wirral. I also got the ingredients for your other two recipes too so a yummy week for me. Going to need a bigger freezer๐โค

Great fabulous idea's for lazy or busy people, I can't make them in a slow cooker because i don't have the room..But i just love love those sausages and so nice to see you making veggie dinners, I hope you ate the top of the yellow pepper too, I would make the chilli without the Quorn mince myself, the glass of bubbly was what i appreciated too if i was the cook ๐
To get rid of onion and garlic smell from your hands, rub a stainless steel spoon over your hands under running water. The stainless steel neutralizes the smell of the onion and garlic.
I need to start using my slow cooker lol. I had to look up what Quorn was though. ๐
It's ok nobody's going to die lol lol !! I never heard of Quaorn?? Q what?
One Happy Vegan here .Lidl shop in the morning .THANK YOU xxxxx
I'm in Southern California and we could totally use your rain. Always love new ideas for quick easy meals. Thanks!
Very useful information, great vid, thanks.
Its been a bit of a crazy few weeks Iโm in Sunderland and we had snow on Monday then wind and rain for the rest of the week. I really liked this vlog, I have a triple slow cooker so thereโs 3 pots and today I put a whole chicken in one, jacket potatoes seasoned and wrapped in foil in another and rice pudding in the other…. they are so helpful to have… hope to see more of these vlogs and the diy ones are great too xx
Here in the USA we have a wonderful item called disposable slow cooker liners. Really cuts down on clean up. I wonโt be without them for I use my slow cooker almost weekly. You might look in store to see if you have them there.
The meals look gorgeous it's making me Hungry lol i do the same add water in the Jars to
get the excess out, and i always buy the tins with with the pully top on so easy i am gonna give these meals ago GREAT video Mr C x
I like โone pot โ recipes but I prefer cooking them on the stove,, stirring each ingredient in any cooking oil ..it tastes much better ๐
Good job Iwan ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Yay, I love it when you do these ๐
An observance of you from watching your videos…..I have a quiz for you. You can only choose two…alcohol, coffee, or sweet treats. Which one goes?
Next time you visit home bargains, they sell sc liners, lazy cooking and no washing up ๐ brilliant recipes
Mr C… brill vlog, great ideas and i just adore you. You are so funny and your videos always, without fail, make me giggle and brighten my day. Sending love to you from Deepest, Darkest Devon xxxx
We do love a slow cooker meal, unfortunately it's on average 30 plus degrees here in Queensland Australia atm, but got my winter inspiration from your meals.. Thank you MrC ๐๐โฃ๏ธ๐ฆ๐บ
It's chilly here in Maine, USA. Love allllllll the slowcooker ideas. Our favorite to do here is a chicken curry with winter veggies. Mmmm! Always a joy to watch your videos! โฅ๏ธ
okay I really need a slow cooker because I hate just standing at the stove just watching the food boil or fry! Also I would love to see more asian dishes, gonna try the korma when I get my slow cooker!
Yeah! Vegetarian food. Thank you. My tip, not for a slow cooker, because I don't have one, but for storing carrots. If you top and tail them, don't peel them, and put them in a plastic box in the fridge, covered in water, with the lid on, they keep fresh for weeks. Really. Hence, if you have to buy more than you need, you can keep the rest until you do need them.
Sorry put off straight away no meat, I'm not a vegetarian
I miss sausage casserole, but everytime i try to make a vegetarian one with linda sausages it just tastes like sausages with tinned tomatoes. Even with a seasoning packet. Any tips?
Spag Bol in a slow cooker is great, but you can also buy a cheaper cut of beef – brisket etc and slow cook that for mouth watering results .
Loved the chilli – not so keen on the tinned sweet corn though – they remind me of teeth lol ( once you have that in your head, itโll stay. )
Great thanks. I never have used quorn in the SC, definitely what I'm going to do!!! Unfortunately I'm allergic to chick peas but I'll probably add some butternut squash ๐
Oh good grief I'd trample over anybody for garlic…love it!! It's lovely and sweet when roasted too…tip for garlicky hands…rinse with cold water (no soap) and oh dear there's no other way to say this…err * cough * rub your hands over the stainless steel tap. Don't ask me how it works, it just does ๐ Your meals look so warming and cosy ๐
I love making soup. And my favourite is pea and ham, but I include celery carrots onion and lentils. I add big (ish) chunks of cooked ham towards the end. I love my slow cooker, I use it so much. You also need to try an air fryer. Life changer Mr C. ๐๐
I do love a slow cooker recipe I have 2 slow cookers and a pressure cooker they all look fab thank you for sharing Mr C I add a touch of milk to the Korma jar to get the rest out to make your own flat breads you use 300g natural fat free yoghurt and 300g SR flour pinch of salt mix kneed on a floured surface roll out into 6 balls roll out flat and cook in a dry frying pan for a few mins on each side delish
