Great inspo – I like lifting the lid of 30 mins before I find it helps thicken sauces or a tiny bit of cornflower ๐Ÿ™‚ I love making a beef joint in mine, jacket potatoes and fajitas x

The chilli looked sooo good. Its actually sunny and spring like today in the north east but still a bit cold. I always do pulled pork or gammon in my slow cooker, itโ€™s a family favourite. Maybe you could try chopping your fresh peppers with a serrated edge knife as they pepper skins (and tomatoes) can really dull your blade. I love slow cooker recipes , keep them coming! X

Great fabulous idea's for lazy or busy people, I can't make them in a slow cooker because i don't have the room..But i just love love those sausages and so nice to see you making veggie dinners, I hope you ate the top of the yellow pepper too, I would make the chilli without the Quorn mince myself, the glass of bubbly was what i appreciated too if i was the cook ๐Ÿ™‚

To get rid of onion and garlic smell from your hands, rub a stainless steel spoon over your hands under running water. The stainless steel neutralizes the smell of the onion and garlic.

Its been a bit of a crazy few weeks Iโ€™m in Sunderland and we had snow on Monday then wind and rain for the rest of the week. I really liked this vlog, I have a triple slow cooker so thereโ€™s 3 pots and today I put a whole chicken in one, jacket potatoes seasoned and wrapped in foil in another and rice pudding in the other…. they are so helpful to have… hope to see more of these vlogs and the diy ones are great too xx

Here in the USA we have a wonderful item called disposable slow cooker liners. Really cuts down on clean up. I wonโ€™t be without them for I use my slow cooker almost weekly. You might look in store to see if you have them there.

Yeah! Vegetarian food. Thank you. My tip, not for a slow cooker, because I don't have one, but for storing carrots. If you top and tail them, don't peel them, and put them in a plastic box in the fridge, covered in water, with the lid on, they keep fresh for weeks. Really. Hence, if you have to buy more than you need, you can keep the rest until you do need them.

I miss sausage casserole, but everytime i try to make a vegetarian one with linda sausages it just tastes like sausages with tinned tomatoes. Even with a seasoning packet. Any tips?

Spag Bol in a slow cooker is great, but you can also buy a cheaper cut of beef – brisket etc and slow cook that for mouth watering results .
Loved the chilli – not so keen on the tinned sweet corn though – they remind me of teeth lol ( once you have that in your head, itโ€™ll stay. )

Oh good grief I'd trample over anybody for garlic…love it!! It's lovely and sweet when roasted too…tip for garlicky hands…rinse with cold water (no soap) and oh dear there's no other way to say this…err * cough * rub your hands over the stainless steel tap. Don't ask me how it works, it just does ๐Ÿ˜œ Your meals look so warming and cosy ๐Ÿ˜

I love making soup. And my favourite is pea and ham, but I include celery carrots onion and lentils. I add big (ish) chunks of cooked ham towards the end. I love my slow cooker, I use it so much. You also need to try an air fryer. Life changer Mr C. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜˜
