Ok totally NOT carnitas I would definitely add fresh squeezed Orange juice and bit of Coca Cola for sweetness and maybe try sautéing it with a bit of lard after it’s cooked. My opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️ coming from the Mexico town that originated carnitas.

ok I'm a bit confused, why would you use Italian seasoning in a Mexican dish??? and No Oregano?? No orange juice. ?? just asking .. I have an InstaPot still in the box (which I have had for months) looking for good recipes..

Good Carnitas should fall apart and not need that much shredding. You are also missing the orange juice. The meat should be cooked in liquid so it comes out juicy, not dry.
I hope this taken as educational or constructive criticism and not insulting. So many restaurants serve dry carnitas and once you have it cooked right you just can’t eat that dry stuff. 😜

I've bought an instant pot after watching your video.

I've just a question… On the instant pot website we can read that the lid is dishwasher safe.

But (after all the time you use it) did you use the dishwasher for your instant pot lid ?

I’ve heard recipes from SixSistersStuff are amazing, but I’ve noticed that just about all they post are instapot recipes. I am content with my “old school “ pressure cooker and my faithful crockpot. Have any recipes for the rest of us without an instapot?

Thank for this video and also for the use of pork tenderloin to lower the fat. These look sooooo good and I want to try the dressing you suggested too. Looks yummy….. And thanks for opportunity to win instant pots. My sister does not have one and would love it so much. Claudia
