Great ideas! Looking forward to trying lentils for the 1st time & I'm trusting your channel to help me season them just right! I have 4 bags of green, yellow & red. Bought a dozen bags of various beans when I could find them (when pandemic started), but have yet to try them. Good thing I have an instant pot!

Trying to cook the rice and my instant pot duo has stopped giving a burn message 3 times! I’ve added enough water that it’s now a soup and it won’t stop. Crappy day

Love the tip on how to clean off labels, been really wanting to reuse some glass jars but couldn't get off the labels. Plus I like that you showed your pantry set up, my kitchen is really small as well and I only have three cabinets to fit everything so believe me it's a job as well as a bit messy 😂👍🏾

I enjoyed this, it was fun getting to see your kitchen in full and your pantry walk through as well, just something different but interesting, thanks. I also don't have a conventional pantry and use the cupboards above to store food, but I am also guilty of storing things in my linen cupboard for stashed away staples.
I'm valiantly trying to get my pantry supplies worked through bit by bit, I went a bit overboard when Covid first hit as so often I would go to the store and the pantry staples were never there, rice, pasta, flour etc, so then when I did find things knowing it would be weeks until it might be there again I stocked up a bit, and called it my Covid cupboard. 🙂 So now I'm only needing to buy fresh produce each week to add to what I already have on hand so it makes for quite cheap shopping!
Am looking forward to your instant pot video, that sounds like it will be a good one. I use mine more often than I used to thanks to you so am sure I will want to try some of the meals from that. I also reuse old jars, especially when I've found some extra special ones like hexagon shaped ones, those are too pretty to throw away and I feel good giving them a second life. 🙂

What do you think about doing copycat meals from plant based meal plans that are delivered?
I saw one it was$18.99 a meal another was $8.99 a meal. You are the master of the budget.

Pantry organization! Yeah!!! I really need to do mine. I have a cold cellar which is awesome but I have too much stuff in there and it's not easy to find things, so thanks for the inspiration Miranda

I recycle all my jars too, but I'm quite the opposite when it comes to food storage. I grew up in a Mormon household and having months of food storage was just something the church recommended. My parents did it and it's something that stuck with me even though I left the church over three decades ago. Great vid!

I let him post his gaming videos on my account. I am a mom. I work at Trader Joe's and love your Trader Joe's vids. 🙂

You just inspired me to make a pantry meal: red lentils, diced tomatoes, chili seasoning, frozen chopped spinach and frozen seasoning blend (onions, celery, red peppers, green peppers and parsley flakes). It can't cook soon enough!

Hello Miranda. I’ve started reading “The Starch Solution” book and trying some wfpb vegan meals to allow my body to adjust to this new lifestyle. I’m finding out how satiating starch is when it’s included in a meal and I now don’t have room afterwards to have a dessert. I enjoy watching your videos and seeing you make meals.

Love your videos and I’m not vegan. I have 3 kids and would love to do my housework in an hr. I love your budget cooking ideas. Just with kids it is a little different. I’ve stolen some of your recipes though. Hello from Oz

Having backup food is really a necessity even if you have OCD. In an emergency, or a blizzard, or hurricane, or if for some reason you can't get food for a long time, it's better to have backup food than to starve.

Tip: If you would like your nuts and seeds to last longer, it's best to store them in the fridge or freezer. Thank you for sharing Miranda. Your food looked yummy.

Have you researched why you shouldn’t consume the liquid from canned chickpeas? Just wondering if you’ve done that and you just don’t agree with it, or if you haven’t heard of the dangers. Please share your thoughts if you have some time! I’ve been leery of it ever since I read about it, which sucks because I like using aquafaba in place of tahini in my hummus.
