I used to use an old presto egg cooker years ago and actually wore it out. Till it just died. I have a gourmet a air fryer that I love. I might look into this. Right now I just put them in cold water bring them to a boil. Put the lid off take them off the heat time 11 minutes to do the plunge into the ice water bath. Actually easier to do it than to say it.
Please don't give your old egg cooker to Goodwill. They will market at $9.99. And it will last probably two weeks. And they've wasted $10 on something that you got rid of. It's not the Goodwill you used to remember. And I'm really being honest with you about that. I cannot believe how much they've raised the prices for Junk. When they want to charge $1.99 for something from the dollar tree you know things are not right.

Thank you Doug, you just made me feel better about using my egg cooker I have the Shaq egg cooker and I can make 14 hardboiled eggs and than more on top like you also did.
I usually put minced celery in my egg salad, but I haven't been able to find celery in NYC for more than a week, so I minced some parsley stems really fine. Tasted great.
Never had or used an egg cooker before but thanks to you Doug it is now on my "must" have gadget list. Those eggs look delicious. Thanks for sharing.

I really love using my egg cooker weekly for salads, tuna, omelets, etc. Iโm truly a gadget girl at heart. Anything to make life much easier especially after a hard day on the job.
