I have a set laundry schedule. Mon-towels tues-kids wed-adults thurs-misc/catchup fri-cloth diapers. We all have enough clothes to go a week between washing and I love that all of the load goes to one place. We also dont fold kids clothes! We hang dresses and church shirts but other than that even by 3 year old can put away his own clothes when we take out folding.

As a recent step-mom to two boys (11 & 12), I was completely overwhelmed. One of the best things I did was give them each a laundry basket in their room. When it is full, they are responsible for carrying it down two floors to the laundry room in the basement. I will wash it and put the clean basket outside their room so they can put it away. No more sorting and folding and trying to figure out whose sock are whose. Also, they share a bathroom and alternate cleaning it every week.

    Great video!

One question: Instead of taking a multi-vitamin, why not take just a B supplement if you're B-deficient? Or even better, eat foods high in B vitamins! Legumes are great because they're packed with good stuff and also cheap on a per-calorie basis. Might need to still supplement though; idk the situation.

Wow! This video is making me really think. Thank you for posting this. Feeling like the 8oz jar, but only have a 1 year old. It’s encouraging to hear that your capacity actually grows as more kiddos are added ❤️. Going to try yoga at a studio next week at the end of the day so I am getting something done for myself after my daughter goes down vs. scrolling social media, etc. Also need to focus on and STICK to a meal plan to see how that helps with my decision making burnout 😉

Weekly items work best for me to remember to stay on track. Freshen Friday gives the house a quick clean so when others stop by I don’t have to think too much. Less stress. Not perfect, yet it maintains the house. Now that my son is older, I’m thankful for the forts in living room & soup with sandwiches for dinner. Simple & more time together. 🥰

Thank you for this one, Lydia! My favourites are the weekly mealplan and shopping list. So we don‘t have to think about, what‘s for dinner, when we‘re coming home after a long shift.
