Cool you can do same substituting leftover mash potato. Don't whizz it up though leave the pieces of fish small and chop the spring onions finely.

Made these yesterday with a little change in adding a bit of lime juice and peri peri powder instead of pepper. The fish cakes turned out most delicious.
Just made these. Very nice indeed. I added the juice of a lemon and some sweetcorn and red pepper. I also grilled them instead of frying but they went down a treat with my fussy 6 year old. Thanks for the recipe.

I used to like fish till I recently found out that when fish are gutted, they full of worms and sometimes flukes. and if the workers don't get them all, they pass along to you. and if the food isn't cooked at a high enough temp, it wont kill them, then u get infested with worms. all fish have them, but moreso the ocean fish. now, canned tuna and salmon is cooked at such a high temp that it kills everything anyway, and so much so, that is why the little bones r soft and eatable. and safe
