Good job. I guess you could use that chimney as a grill. Just put the grate on top and sear.

The collapsable chimney… that's such a good idea. You could throw your grates right on top of that to grill also. I've had to do this before because I didn't plan well and had nothing to cook on
Have you ever tried caveman style? Where you are cooking directly on the ashed over wood. It is the best way for steak when you're camping without a grill. Just gotta get a good bed of coals before throwing the meat on.I
