It doesn’t get much easier than this! Great, easy recipe for soup that’ll cook while you’re at work (or taking a nap). This turned out great! In hindsight, I could have …
Always best to cook your noodles in a separate pot then add to bowl when ready to eat.
I really enjoy watching you. Your mom would be proud. I started watching only months before she passed. Loved her channel soo much I watched many of her back videos. Her voice was soo calming. I didn't watch for awhile, I was off line. When I came back, she had passed. I felt like I lost a friend. You're doing a good job keeping it going for her charity. God bless.
Looks super good, Colonel!!!!!!
If you are looking for fool proof crockpot meals. My go to is pot roast I do in the crockpot with tiny white potatoes in the cans (rinsed well) with carrots (raw/sliced). I brown the roast on the stove along with the sauteed onions and garlic and add it to the crockpot. You can adapt your above soup recipe to make chicken and dumplings using canned biscuits cut up in 4's and adding heavy cream. Don't stir the biscuits or you end up with goo instead of dumplings. Pho soup is another good one. I've done corned beef in the crockpot just to make Reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut, swiss cheese on grilled rye bread those are tasty too, but I don't know if they have corned beef in Dubai. I hope I gave you some ideas.
I love your shows! Could you sometime share photos of you with you family? We'd love to see who you're talking about! Thanks for taking the time to share with us, Stephen!
Yummy!!
Yummy! I've never tried lemon juice and rosemary in mine, so next time that's what I will do! Thanks for the idea! π
Looks yummy ππ
My grandma used to make a roast with the powdered onion packet from the onion soup usually Liptonβs brand, with red wine poured over the roast beef. And then she would ladel all the juice over the top every now and then.
Roast with potatoes and carrots, or a meatloaf would be good
I made some homemade chicken noodle soup a couple of days ago and it's very similar to your recipe , but I have covid and I still can't taste or smell anything. π₯ So… I'm going to put the rest in the freezer and I'll try it again later. I hope it tastes as good as yours. Thanks for sharing your recipe with us. It looks delicious!!
Sound good, picture goodood! Chicken soup, yum! ππYes, you definitely need a stool! You need alittle garlic, or maybe I missed where you put that in. God bless.πππ
I think of you frequently when the jets are flying over from Luke- love that sound.
You can use the shredded chicken for so many things- tacos, burritos, rice bowls, chicken salad, chicken vegetable soup, casseroles, etc. I used to make bean soup in my crock pot all the time. Now I use the Ninja Foodi or Instant Pot to pressure cook it. Much faster way to cook my favorite soup.
Your chili story reminded me how much your mom disliked black pepper.
Video and sound is great! I enjoy all your videos.
2 bowls. Now I want some. π
Looks delicious!
I also add dry parsley, 1 tbsp. Or 2, makes it sooo good! A must try! π€
Idk if you like tortilla soup? You could split the chicken and soup in half then add noodles to one set and put some avocado, cilantro and whatever leftover veggies you want into the other then serve the 2nd soup over some crunched up Doritos. Yum!
Crock pots are the best things ever invented lol This sounds delicious. You do need a stool… π
Would like to see you make meat loaf or a nice Roast beef.
I also squeeze the last of my lemon into my soup, it brightens the flavor and I also shake in some dried basil (I think the dried basil is actually from the spicy basil plant, not the Italian basil) because I think it gives it almost the taste of Chinese broth and a TINY touch of 5 spice powder would even more.
Looks delicious.
Happy New Year! Living vicariously though you from half way around the world. I am curious about the grocery shopping experience there. Are the markets similar to what we have in the states? I noticed the chicken is packaged much like we are familiar with.
Steve,the soup looks delicious
From an old cook, use less noodles in a soup, about a quarter of the bag. You did great Stephen, classy music too.
There is nothing like coming home or waking up to the smell of a slow cooker meal. I wish I could cook and do laundry in the kitchen. I have family in the Philippines with a washer/dryer combo in their kitchen.
I have done crock pot chicken noodles with almost same as yours—it is easy and good! I laughed out loud when you opened up your cupboard door and turned off your washer, that is a first to see that but WOW convenient.
Do they have zoos and amusement parks there?
