I was always told not to put acidic fruits like pineapple with raw meat long term because it starts cooking the meat and it can go bad in the fridge/freezer if left too long… how did the pork pineapple meal go in the freezer? Can anyone explain the rules for pineapple/raw meat and when it's ok to pair and store and when it isn't?

Love the idea of having freezer meals ready to go for when you get home from vacation! May start implementing that idea! I just started scheduling a grocery delivery for the day we get back from big trips and it has been a gamer changer! Currently trying to eat down the fridge before we leave again.
