    I bought frozen black eye peas from Ralph’s. Seasoned them and cooked on the stovetop for 45 minutes and they were beyond amazing. To thicken the sauce add arrowroot to the liquid then just take the lid off.

    Thanks AB. I made this with the smoked turkey legs and jalapeño. Took out the legs after 2 hrs and pulled the meat from legs and put back in for last hour while I made cornbread muffins (Jiffy works for me) and New Years dinner was FIRE!!! Can’t wait to try your sweet potato pie recipe with the nut topping. Happy New Year 2023 with more great cooking 🎉
