In this easy cooking video, I cook some beef and rice in my Instant Pot Ultra 60 pressure cooker. The ingredients I used in this easy recipe are 1 lb of beef stew meat, 2 cups of rice, 2 cups of water, and about 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables. I seasoned it with salt and Johnny’s Seasoned Pepper. https://amzn.to/2ywz1Xf Then cooked it on the Rice setting and let the pressure release naturally on it’s own.

Using my Instant Pot tonight for the first time and I'm starting with your recipe, TosTinMan! I used 2 pounds of beef chuck shoulder steak select that was on sale along with fresh mushrooms and onions instead of frozen veggies. Seasoned with sea salt, freshly ground pepper and garlic powder. The beef was amazing but I thought the rice was a bit mushy. It helped when I tossed it with a fork. My husband LOVED it and that's mostly what matters to me. Next time, I'll make make one cup of rice/water instead of two. Thank you, TTM!!!

Looks delish and you make it look soooo easy! Finally took my instant pot out of its box after two years of intimidation by appliance. LOL… watching you and others on YouTube cooking some fine eats in it, figured time to give it a try. Thanks to your tips and lessons, have made some chicken and zucchini with rice, and some beef and rice. Thanks for the inspiration.

I make my rice with a 1:1 ratio as well due to the fact that there's no evaporation using the IP. Here's hoping that you're doing well. Sending well wishes and thanks for the recipe!
