my cousin's husband nevver ate rice, ever. then, he saw my cousin wash it before cooking it and he asked if she always washes it and she was like yea, obviously and from then on he started eating rice and he loves it now. turns out, his mom never washed the rice. my bf didn't wash it either and i said im not eating it unless it's washed thrice before cooked. so he washed it now cuz else- death.

Your bean sprouts looks like mung bean sprouts not soy bean sprouts. It's little awkward for me. Because most people in korea use soy bean sprout but I think that your arrangement is not bad.
This recipe is great but I think it's only missing one component here. And that's the hot stone bowl to make sure the base of the rice forms a sorta toasted crusty layer.
Aside from that, YUMM!
You can pull out the japanese grill but can't get the stone bowl which when heated up and served in makes the rice CRISPY?

Every time I do 1:1 Rice and water.. My rice always comes out under done.. I find Rice 1:1.5 Water works better..
