This is the 2nd time I tried making this – each time the instant pot shoots a food burn error before preheat is finished. I even added more water the 2nd time I tried it.

Anyone else get the food burn? Used 2 cups total liquid the first try. 2-1/2 the 2nd attempt.

    Using high pressure, 18 mins.

I have the instant pot Crisp, I only cook white rice for 3 minutes on High pressure and natural vent for 10 minutes, I’m scared of 18 minutes being way too long. Is there a difference with the different models of instant pot when cooking rice? I see someone below commented they cook their rice for 8 minutes.

Honestly the recipe is good very tasty but!
I don’t get cooking that little bit of rice in the instant pot it’s so complicated to clean
I rather cook in my caldero and I mean just the rice
Thank you for your good advise about the pressure valve that really was a plus!
