Your chicken looked so good! We have a similar sauce recipe, but we're kind of lazy…we take the whole bone-in thigh. salt and pepper it, coat it with potato starch, brown it in a little oil, dip it in the sauce and bake it uncovered to finish; then garnish with sesame seeds. Tastes great, and you don't have to deep fry to get crunch, at least on the skin part.

What kind of oil do you use? And, what do you do with the oil after you fry with it? I usually don't fry like that because I don't know what to do with the oil. I heard in Japan they make this powder stuff you put in the oil and it solidifies it so you can safely throw it away.

Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you for this yummy recipe Niki! Will definitely try your recipe soon. I used Monkfruit sugar once for a dessert recipe, the texture was grainy, but it was a good substitute if you're watching your sugar intake. Yay! I bet Mom enjoyed it!💗💗💗

You're too adorable! Love watching you! I totally feel you. Need to watch what I eat nowadays. Great video! I prefer fried chicken! Looks sooo yummy!! My tummy is grumbling! Wednesday is my birthday, not sure if I should splurge or continue monitoring what I eat.

Hi sister!! Hontoni oishisou ne!! I'm so happy that you decided to give Lankanto a try. Of course, it's not for everyone–especially if you've always only used pure cane sugar, however, it's better than nothing, if you have dietary restrictions……baby steps, yeah? Yes, the golden is like brown sugar, and the white is of course like white sugar. They also have powdered as well. You're doing awesome with your walking and with watching what you eat. I know that brother Shinichi had been intermittent fasting. I began IF early last year, and followed it all the way, up until 2 months ago. I have recently began again. It truly works and I find myself not getting hungry until much later. My eating window is 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, typically….. Sometimes I don't get hungry until 2:00 PM. I will definitely give this delicious looking recipe a try. I know that my family will really like it. I'm curious to know whether Brian or your okaasama liked/disliked the monk fruit sweetener. Thank you for sharing!

Chicken looks delicious. Potato snack is good idea. It stayed crispy even after you poured the sauce. My sister mixes the ingredients in the batter and add sesame in. I think we'll try it this way. Thank you sharing this recipe.
