Microwave is awful for you. Lectines are not the only thing you need to look for but also how you cook your food and how fresh it is.

Instead of the meat substitute why not just do mushrooms….maybe some rich portobello. Also for meat substitutes please make sure there are no wheat meats. Gluten is found in a lot of these meat substitutes.
I eat salads for breakfast. Love them! But I also eat eggs other days.

It’s good to see doctors looking after themselves and cooking healthy meals. They get so few hours of nutrition training. Like 3-4hrs in 7 yrs! However as he mentioned we’ve all been educated incorrectly about what we have been putting in our mouths for years. Cereal (even porridge oats) although initially filling eventually just makes me more hungry.

I don't like using the microwave for cooking or steaming in plastic.. it's the heating of the plastic which I was taught was toxic… is this just a myth Dr. GUNDRY?
