I luv making my own meatballs cause frozen store bought gives me indigestion bad. And really doesn’t take long at all. Then bake cool & freeze. Sometimes mix a lb with lb of sausage.

I make 2 or 3 loaves of bread in a batch and it saves me a lot of time. There are only 2 of us now so it last awhile and I freeze it to stay fresh. Just slice it first with my electric knife and place in freezer bags. This way I can take out a few slices at a time as needed and it's as fresh as new bread when thawed.

I made homemade meatballs tonight for supper. I browned them and then make brown gravy and let them simmer for about an hour. We had them over rice and it was delicious.

I like to par-cook my meatballs in the oven for about 20 minutes to get some of the extra grease off then add to the crockpot with sauce. They never come out greasy they way.

Your garden looks fabulous! I could spend all day in your yard! Reminds me of Grandpa and Grandma's farm before they put a highway in the middle of it 🙄 Our family is grieving in a way! ☹️ I made a Philly cheese steak sloppy joe or something in the crockpot. It was the 1st and last time! The crock pot gives hamburger a odd texture that just don't work lol. Hubby called it sloppy sock 🤣🤣
I did the same recipe on stop top 💯 better!

Congratulations to Haylee this is such an exciting and heart wrenching time. My daughter whose name is also Haylee graduates next week. This is my third and it isn’t any easier. If you pick up your camera great and if not I think everyone understands. Just take it all in.

It's a Holiday (Ascension) here in Belgium tomorrow. A lot of people took Friday off, to get a prolonged weekend. And it looks like the weather is going to be nice, so it's crazy in this country with people trying to get places in their cars (lots of traffic, jams, etc.). Enjoy yourself, and don't mind us. We can wait!

Why don't you make two loaves of bread and freeze one as dough and see if it works like Rhodes dough. You can always use it for bread crumbs if it doesn't work
    😂

Pickled eggs and beets are a great way to use eggs and they are a great snack! You can beat your eggs and put in a ziplock bag and freeze them. Use for scrambled eggs 🥚 or omelette or sandwich 🥪 I don’t like water glass eggs either. I bake mine to much grease in the crockpot we like to put spaghetti sauce in the crockpot and have spaghetti or meatball subs . Lettuce 🥬 looks great ! Thank you ! 🌸🌈🌸

I've wanted to start water glassing eggs but The Hubs is against it 😒 he doesn't like the idea of eggs on a shelf, in a water solution for up to a year 🤣 it turns his stomach he says. Your garden is looking Amazing!!

Totally get the emotional part, my youngest graduated in 2017. Enjoy your week! I’ve been sick in bed this is second week. I’ve been really wanting a crosswave, glad to hear you really like it. We are waiting for soil so we can get our garden in. Your blessed with all the eggs. The price of eggs her in Vermont, has gone down, but still pretty pricey.
