Maybe try bed on an angle and can put a shelf over the head of bed for her night time stuff or alarm clock. Gave me a little more floor space.

Was that only one coat of the Behr paint? I painted my daughter's room in April it was a lighter color blue but I had to use two coats primer and a coat of paint.
