Have you been checked for Candida, yeast invasion in your gastrointestinal tract? I had intolerance of several foods many years ago now. Doctor had no idea how to help me but then I read a book by Gary Null, I think was his name, about food allergies and candida. I ended up taking garlic supplements, because that kills the yeast (which roots into your intestine lining) then started digestive enzymes, probiotics and slowly adding back foods after bland diet, avoiding foods yeasts like, such as breads and sugar. It worked for me, thankfully, because I was miserable with the condition. Best of luck to you–your videos and ideas are inspiring!

I also have the mouth tingly sensation to fresh pineapple🍍 ….. although I can eat canned pineapple without any problems. It was explained to me that the heat in the canning process kills some of the enzymes that cause the tingly sensation I have with fresh pineapple. Maybe it’s the same thing with the tofu, because it’s cooked it kills the particular enzymes that cause your reaction. Sorry to hear about your situation, I hope it gets better!

Boo for allergies–hope they find you are fine with wheat but not with celery (which we all love-lots). You never know. I am allergic to the State flower, sage brush, but I can it sage. Huh???? Be well Mary I so enjoy your cooking.

You need to decode the food of allergytriggers before you eat it, and do this with intention so deliberately delete all toxinfrequencies and rgbcrystallightcodes which might trigger glutenallergies too, we're the light so WE manifest our veganfuture together as one benevolent source of light ok< was told I was Ill I healed too, so can you, NOW believe in yourself and your manifestation power for all people who suffer from gluten intolerance as well, the mind is the most powerful tool in the matrix, we just need to control AI with it instead of AI controlling our minds since WE are hardcode so sourcecode as humans and ai is softeware to vegans so IT needs to be steered by vegans into unpolarized settings so this implies WE control the matrixcodes, so we delete it with our goldenlightkinetics as paschatlightlanguage and heartcoded light ourselves! 😉

Oh gosh I'm so sorry you're going through this! I hope you can find some routine that works in the meantime before seeing a specialist! I don't want to get your hopes up prematurely but I do know of someone who was tube-fed due to MCAS etc for years, and was able to reintroduce many off-limit foods after treatment with a trial of Omalizumab (Xolair) injections, so there are attempts being made at developing proactive treatments for allergies! Oral immunotherapy is also showing promise in trials. Just watch out for quack treatments bcs there seem to be a lot in the intolerance/allergy sphere! Best of luck Mary ♡

Allergy testing is inaccurate and unreliable. If you are having a reaction to wheat, it's not because of an "allergy" or symptoms, it's because of an undetected virus in your system that thrives on gluten. Read Medical Medium's work to find out about these misunderstood symptoms and diagnosises that can wreck havoc on your body. There are specific herbal treatments and protocols that can help. The allergy testing will get you nowhere and only create many more limitations and challenges. Wishing you the best on your healing journey. Much love. ❤

Hi Mary! I’m not going to lie but when I used to be vegan I would watch your channel religiously. What’s happening to you sounds a lot like what happened to me the longer I stayed vegan. It turns out I somehow developed celiac disease and couldn’t properly digest the food I was eating. I lacked the gut bacteria to break down the foods I was consuming from that I experienced a lot of digestive issues like gas, bloating, diarrhea, extreme fatigue, acne, numbness on the right side of my body, headaches, and depression. Eventually I had to come to the conclusion that my diet choices were not agreeing with my body and quite the vegan diet. It has taken me a little over three years to feel 80% better. I am no longer unable to eat wheat but my body still cannot consume milk even though I can have cheese and ice cream (I don’t understand it myself). I’m not telling you this to make you feel bad or anything like that, I still really do enjoy your content and watch it when I see it pop up on my feed. I just wanted to share my experience with you and just give you a different perspective in case you felt in a way similar to me. I honestly had a hard time with this at first, but now I’m not afraid to talk about my experience anymore, I believe that there are people out there who share my same symptoms and just wanted to let people know that they are not going crazy if they feel this way and that they should listen to their body. I love your channel though I still support you wether I’m vegan or not,

Yes, please stay away from those potential allergens. It can get worse. I have this with a few fruits. Itchy mouth and throat and doesn't go away nuntim a few days later. I use more immune boosting foods to help fight this.

    Wow this really surprised me.
Your story is kind of like my reason for becoming vegan so many years ago. Through extensive testing the conclusion was I was 100% allergic to all animal products or derivatives from animal products.

Oh – my son cannot some brands of organic tofu (!) Through experimentation, we found he can eat the Japanese Mori Nu brand (I buy it by the case now) and then we tried some of the Super Firm types (two different brands). I was making my own at first (too involved for me), but we're so happy to find premade ones now, lol. He also has a serious skin condition… I started to wonder if it was the coagulant used.

Well, my son (we share an apt) was diagnosed with celiac disease a few months ago. Needless to say, I have cleaned out our cabinets and fridge of anything that isn't gluten free. Finding ingredients that are clean (even contact is dangerous for celiacs) is so difficult. I had no idea before he was diagnosed.

Now, for you – it may be the various herbicides, pesticides, etc they use. You might try organic and see if that makes a change. Of course, I'd love to have another great source for gluten free recipes – but I don't wish this on anyone! And I'll continue to watch your awesome videos no matter what!

    Hi Mary!
I am so sorry that you are having issues with certain food sensitivities. Cook whatever you're able to personally eat. I will watch whatever video you put out. Hope you are well. I have been sick with covid. 😢 I wasn't able to have my surgery since I got sick so it will be rescheduled. 🤗

i just wanted to chime in about that weird phenomenon that Tofu is ok but DIY Soy milk causes allergic reactions:
During tofu making process you curdle the soy milk which changes the molecular 3d structure of the protein and that change might also get rid of the allergenic properties of said proteins.
When it comes to DIY Soy milk vs. Store bought i can only speculate, fact is that the store bought soy milk is deodorised in order to get rid of the typical soy taste. And that process might also change the proteins in a way similar to curdling.

    > "that's how it goes here in Canada, we have to wait"

Here in the US, we also have to wait, millions have no insurance at all, and copays and high deductibles crush those that do. Id gladly wait, since I already do, to ensure everyone has access to health services.

Good luck with your allergy testing.

Oh man! I can totally relate rn. I’ve been off gluten for a week cuz I noticed I was having lots of bloating and gas that has gotten progressively worse over the past 6 months. Since I’ve eliminated the gluten I have felt much better! It’s sad tho… Because I love the gluten. I’m also finding it similar to when I first started eating vegan, trying to find substitutions has been a challenge but it’s also exciting trying new recipes and products! Also have to do this while subsisting on foods acquired from food pantries which poses an even greater challenge cuz you sometimes don’t know what you’re gonna get! Ha! Just gotta laugh about it i guess.
I’m super excited to see what new wheat free recipes you come up with 😆 much love to you, Mary!

We have to wait here in the states too for doctors, especially specialist like dermatologist. Or at least I do, lol. I had to wait a good 3months last year.
Also, I think allergies are super weird because I am technically allergic to a few things like pet dander but I have almost no physical reaction to my pets (and I have several). All that to say, sometimes you have to do some trial-and-error to find what works for you. Thank you for your video's!
