when you used to out the eggs in hot water, didn't they crack when they hit the boiling water? mine used to always crack so that's how I learned to use cold first. I make mine exactly like yours. they are the best

Easy way and just as good, with minimal mess…Put eggs in instant pot, on a rack, set on high pressure for 7 minutes with about 1/2 cup water in bottom of pot. After the timer goes off at 7 minutes do a quick release and immediately put in ice bath or just very cold water. Makes the perfect egg and so easy to peel. Then cut eggs in half, take out the yolk and put the yolks into a zip lock baggie along with your mayo, mustard and whatever your recipe calls for (I usually mash up the yolks alone in the bag before adding the other ingredients) then just zip it up and smoosh it all around in the bag until contents are smooth and creamy, cut a corner out of one side of the bottom of the baggie and pipe the yolk mixture into the egg white halves and top with paprika or whatever you like….easy peasy and no to boil and no messy egg yolk bowl to clean up…just toss the bag in the garbage and kitchen is clean. Can't get any easier than that. Give it a try.

I like mine more thick and I use half Mayo half mustard. I like a strong mustard flavor. I also add salt, pepper, a tiny bit of garlic powder, and paprika on top 🙌🏽🤤

I recently bought Dukes and made one sandwich and threw it out. Hellman’s light for me. I also add either some Spike or Mrs Dadh seasoning dill relish and dill weed. Sprinkle with paprika

Growing up here in Eastern NC I never knew another mayonnaise existed besides Dukes! And we never put salad pickles in our deviled eggs… pickles go in potato salad, chicken salad.. not deviled eggs! Yolks, mayo, mustard, a pinch of sugar, salt & pepper.

I like Miracle Whip for a sandwich, a base for homemade coleslaw, and to make homemade tartar sauce. I like mayo for dipping fries into and deviled eggs. I make so much sense, I know hahaha! 🙂

I make my own mayonnaise. I can’t eat soy. I also use French’s mustard. I use minced onions and pickles if I add anything. I put the yolk mixture I. A sandwich bag and clip off the corner to fill the yolk. I also use paprika.

You have started a Charcuterie Demon with me and my hubby cries everytime I come home with goodies (boards, bowls and EXPENSIVE food)! Do you have tips for how to do the boards on a budget but still nice, so it can be a win-win? Help a sister out! Hahaha

Cilla, Just became subscriber off of FatheringAutism facebook page. We don't have Duke's up in Minnesota, I guess Hellmann's is the closest up here. I make mine in a mini food processor to blend it so smooth and actually fluffs it up! We also sprinkle dill on top instead of paprika and elbows get thrown at parties when we bring them. Plate is empty before I can put it on the table. Keep it up, love watching you all. Can I ask what kinda video camera you use to record? It does awesome job. Thanks!!!!!
