Thanks for sharing. The Bronze Bow book is really good, it came with our MFW curriculum. That was cute Benjamin strumming the guitar. All your kids are doing great learning guitar. Have you heard of pickleball? Andrew and I have been learning how to play it and it's fun. It's a combination of tennis, ping pong and badminton. It's been around since the 60's and is gaining popularity more now.

Totally agree with Carol- I enjoyed 17 yrs working with preschool and kindergarten. Children did the best when they were encouraged to learn at what they were interested at most. Still got the required curriculum in but enjoyed watching them follow their “ interests” and what they could come up with.
Your kiddos will so excel with giving them free interest learning.
So heartfilling to watch your family and how yous all flow together
Thank you for such a great share-way to grow them together👏❤️

My daughter does public school but during the summer I like her to do some extra learning on ELA since that’s her hardest subject! I have some Evan Moor spelling and writing books from last year so continuing those. Also have a mind bender book. We have some science experiment books with some projects and some crafty kits for her to do too. Benjamin will be playing the guitar as a toddler!

You should do a video on how you log these kind of “unschooling” type things/days per kid. It’s normal to me because we homeschool exactly how you guys do—it’s kind of eerie how similar we are actually, but on the homeschool Facebook pages the newbie homeschool moms are just terrified of our ridiculously easy government-mandated tracking of hours and subjects. And no matter how much I tell them to stop timing their kids and just count everything they can think of, to stop taking it SO HARD and destroying their love of learning, I think a video from a more eloquent, articulate person , such as yourself 😁, would go a long ways for me to just share on those types of posts.

This was such a beautiful video. I love how you shared with us each of your children's interest. You can really see their passions. I loved Bella's notebook. That is very motivating and awesome for moms and kids watching your videos. I would enjoy more videos like this one if it's something you'd like to share more of. Free range kids is definitely the key to the best childhood.

I love the way you home school your children. I think it is great to let them learn to find their passion. You’re absolutely right, if they find their passion, they will remember what they learn and you don’t have to remind them to do things. You provide and excellent learning environment for them to excel!. I agreed about not checking off boxes. We all love to learn. I’m always learning and don’t ever want to quit. Firming the pandemic, I took a lot of free classes online. Great that the older kids went to hell someone move. ♥️ You have a terrific Tuesday with your wonderful family. Your children are blessed to have you and Jason for parents! ♥️

Love that you foster your children individual learning by letting them explore the different ways. I am the multifaceted learner (auditory, visual, hands on, reading) and didn't know til my 40's til I went to college and got my degree and excelled. So thankful you allow them to learn and dream. Excellent job Mom.
