I’m European American and I never grew up eating collard greens but started making em myself for the first time about 11 years ago now, wow after looking up a guys recipe from Philly. I’m bougie so I use organic chicken broth, I like yellow onions for collards the best, and then actual bullion cubes, and lots of other seasonings. I use Villari ham hocks every time instead of Turkey necks. Haven’t tried Turkey yet except Turkey legs at at the rodeo and I’ve bought em before and smoked em myself. But I must say I’ve never had any restaurant that can come close to making collard greens as good as me. Not even close. I’m going to have to make some now again it’s been a while. I was just in Europe again for 3 months traveling and having adventures.

That's is what you call REAL soul food!
Fire dude
Put 2 pennys at the bottom of your pot– this way you can tell if your greens are boiling ❤
Is it 8 cups or 4 cups of water with the better than bouillon? Video says 8 cups of water but the ingredients list says 4 cups water
Do you not have to use sugar ?
What's the name of that jam playing in the background?
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL !!! This is what youtube is made for!
Thank u much. I watched your Gumbo greens as well. Bless…
My mom used to sprinkle salt over the greens when she washed them which would get rid of the bugs
