It looks great to me and I bet it was scrumptious! Thank you for sharing your process. I'm sorry this torta didn't turn out the way you wanted to this time but it was a learning opportunity for us viewers at home. Hope you had a great time with your friends. Love your shows and your recipes!

    This looks good.
I have watched a lot of your videos. But, that you pushed yourself to make it for us, when clearly you were not in the mindset and then had a bit of a flop… I found this very endearing.
    Thank you <3

It's a beautiful dish – omg Christine.. I cannot tell you how much you made me laugh- I was in the bath( and I'm single) with the ongoing wine from dinner..thinking of the calories i'm consuming while watching the food I"m going to make and eat, and it came to the part where you ranted on alcorexic eating and it made me think of your book right then…. and then up it came on screen..cuz it all goes together- everyone needs to read that book- anyway- your whole demeanor on the frazzled (even frazzled by the cleaning lady)..omg .. so relatable.. while sipping Chandon.. too much! .. anyway I hope you have a great dinner with the sweatshop clan! I will definitely be making this torta and I'll let it cool.. thanks for that tip too!(oh and mofo spinach.. it was inoffensive 😉 )

Still sounds and looks delicious…something I can prepare in advance and refrigerate Wednesday night and assemble Thursday 🙂 (lucky me – I get to work Thanksgiving day)
