Hi, Krista! Thanks for your video. The slow cooker mode of the instant pot doesn’t reach the correct temperature and it is suggested not to use it for crock pot recipes. When I was deciding to buy one 4 or 5 years ago I did some research and remembered that fact when you mentioned the slow cooker feature wasn’t that great but your yogurt feature worked well. That’s what the review said, too. The review is behind a pay wall at America’s Test Kitchen now but it was very informative at the time since lots of electric pressure cookers were tested. I wanted to comment as your instant pot might be OK and you don’t need a new one. Instant pot brand was the top rated, too!

Also, I've often made up a pot of mashed potatoes when I got a sale on potatoes… then I freeze them in ziplock freezer bags in portion sizes to use as sides. They reheat great.
