Dairy Free Chaffle (keto waffle) – 3 ways

I know that I shouldn’t call it a “chaffle” if it doesn’t have cheese, but I’ve had a number of viewers ask for a dairy free chaffle due to allergies or food sensitivities.

It's nice to have options that don't always use cheese. 👍 I'm not opposed to waffles, but I'm curious as to why you haven't used the dash mini "griddle" lately. I would think it would produce a more convincing bread result.

Love the new video. A few questions: is the chipotle hemp hearts really spicy? Also the maple flavored Stevia… do you have any experience if it tastes different or stronger than just maple extract and liquid Stevia?

Thanks and excited to try the new recipes!

I NEED that shirt and the matching coffee mug!!! I made this, but don't have the coconut milk, so replaced with 1 tbsp cream cheese and then the low carb peanut butter <ingredients- peanuts & salt only>. They came out great!! Told hubby that we have unsweetened coconut flakes that I should have added. I will next time! Thank you for another awesome chaffle recipe!

This is exactly what I have been looking for! Allergic to dairy and have been seeing so many chaffles but they have dairy, figured I would tweak /experiment. Now I have a base to start from – Thank you for recipe.

My favorite chaffle recipe is: 2 eggs, 2 tsp coconut flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder. Mix all together and cook on waffle maker. It is very soft and great for sandwiches and anything else you’d want to put on your chaffle without dairy.

We miscommunicate so easily as it is without people allowing for the changing of a definition.
We called these mock waffles in 2004 and people looked down their noses at them due to the word mock and then the cool kids called them chaffles and then people go stupid crazy over them.

Awesome video as always. You do such a great job of creating some awesome keto recipes. Do you think that there's anyway to come up with a sourdough like Chaffle or even bread recipe? I love sourdough and really miss it.

THANK YOU!!!! I tried your last chaffle recipe with the cheese and it caused THE WORST constipation that lasted 2 weeks. I’m out on the dairy so this looks like a great alternative💝💝💝

I eat carnivore and February for me is no cheese month. I just beat up my eggs, add flavoring and pour it into the waffle iron. It puffs like like a waffle. I still like the taste.

Another option you can try is using Kitehill dairy free cream cheese to replace the “cheese.” I’ve made some terrific and delicious “white bread” chaffles with the Kitehill cream cheese, egg whites, almond flour, and baking powder!

Steve, ya gotta go to the asian market and get good coconut cream/milk – that brand you buy at the local Walmart/Target is dreadful compared to the good stuff – I understand the accessibility issue with those, but wow the difference.

Hey Steve! Great video but I'm browsing through Amazon and am NOT seeing the hemp hearts you used…do you have a link? I'm in Michigan so maybe your area only carries that, thanks!

Thankyou thankyou thankyou!!! I'm so happy!!! Happy Dance can you tell!! Lol been trying to stay away from cheese and let my system heal because I am lactose intolerant. Being on keto has made it so hard,,but you've given me hope this morning. I have hemp hearts but they are not flavored. I wonder if I could put those in there with a teaspoon of everything bagel seasoning??
