Love Cuban sandwiches. I live in Tampa Bay home of the Cuban sandwich. And as a side note- a true one also has salami in it too. Homemade Cuban bread is always a must. So good. Glad you enjoyed yours.

Awww very sweet of your Dad to upgrade you to first class. Sounds what my Daddy would do. I lost both my dear sweet parents. Married 60 yrs. Daddy was a Minister and worked on Railroad for 44yrs. My Mom was a great multi tasker too. Great cook, seamstress, played the organ and choir leader at church. She could really sing. May God bless you all. I'm glad you had a wonderful time. The book sounds very interesting! 😊🥰

Cubans in Cuba do not eat Cuban sandwiches (at least not our family in Cuba) the reason it is called a cuban is because of the pork. The pork which is marinated in sour orange and tons of garlic is a cuban thing.

All mom's need a break every once in a while. But I will agree I start missing my kids & am glad to be back home. Then my brain will say "What? You missed all of this Noise & Chaos?". Yep I did.

My extended family came for a visit once and I found an adults pair of shoes that was left behind….I sent a group text asking who left their shoes and it turned out to be my sister in law’s, they live 2 hours away so she had to wait to get them back lol funny thing is she never even noticed 🤯🤦🏽♀️
