    May I offer a tip, Get a bottle of Merlot Red Wine,
    in a tuckerware type bowl place pot roast in the bowl add rosemary to your taste and cover pot roast with Merlot Wine,
    What happend is this Merlot Wine acts like a tenderizer basically the acidity in the wine breaks down the muscle tissue in the meat therefore the roast will be tender after cooking, this has to marinate over night no short cuts can be taken on this part. The next day cut up some carrots,celey, onions and green peppers up,cut enough to cover the bottom of your crock pot and to cover the top of your pot roast this is called a bed, cut 4 large carrot, 1 bunch of celery, 3 large onions in half and cut into to slices, cut up 4 large green peppers.
    Ok take your pot roast out of the Merlot Wine marinate. Season pot roast with garlic salt both sides that is the only season you will need place the pot roast on top of the carrots, celery, onions and green peppers that is on the bottom of the crock pot, and put the rest of the carrots,celery,onions and bell peppers on the top of the pot roast don't use the rosemary because the flavor of the rosemary was extracted from the Merlot Wine Marinate and that flavor is now in your pot roast. Take the Merlot Wine that the pot roast Marinated in add that to the pot roast in crock pot make sure you cover the pot roast, if you need more wine put some more wine in the crock pot make sure the left over Wine that was left in the bottle do not go in the fridge. You just want to a have enough wine that when it covers the roast you can see the top of the pot roast. Cook pot roast on high for 1 hour turn down low and cook until done remove pot roast from crock pot and discard the wine,carrots,celery,onions
    and bell peppers. After roast is done you have the flavor of rosemary,carrots,celery,
    onions, bell pepper and Merlot Wine make yourself some gravy and serve, I came up with recipe when I was in Culinary College it got me an A + and the job I have now and my job allow me travel on the job expense to hospitals and colleges my company is affiliated with in 32 states and do menus and adjust recipes the best state was Hawaii was there for 3 months I travel 7 months and off5 months I guest that why I have yet to start cooking on you tube.
