Looks DELICIOUS!! I really like the theme weeks and the crockpot is probably my favorite! My friend and I were talking today about making french dip sandwiches in the crockpot.

I am cooking this tomorrow night. And you do not know how much I appreciate that you put the whole written recipe in a drop-down box. We run a farm I don’t have time clicking all over the Internet to find recipes so thank you thank you thank you.

WOW! You read my mind-with 3 Grands playing baseball season need something ready when we walk in the door. Yum! Love theme week. Could start with appetizers, soups then move onto veges etc.

Looks delicious. I don't have either a crock pot or an instant pot. No, place to put them until we get our own place. Chef Jeffrey says you can use an Instant Pot as a slow cooker. He's going to be cooking in his a lot. I plan to get a sun oven as well.

Could you do a week of comfort foods you’ve made but updated in a way to make them a bit healthier? Anything to help ease the transition into a more healthy lifestyle?

I think it would be great to a week of crock pot meals and a week of instant pot meals. Give people different ideas of using them in the summer for no mess but having a well balanced meal and not get the house hot.

I really don’t have anything against cooking in a crockpot or even in the Insta pot but I do enjoy watching your show because you were making things from scratch on the stove. I’m going to miss those kind of things being that’s the way that you normally cook and people from the south, generally cook, and make things from scratch I hope that this is not going to be a change in your channel and you’re going to be getting away from making things from scratch cooking at the stove. I really enjoy watching those episodes just concerned.

Delicious!!!! I cut up my chicken with the kitchen scissors right in the pot if there wasn't a bone. Hope you had fun at the quilting get together. Your craft room looks good and I'm proud that you have been taking the stitches out of the brown quilt. You'll be so glad and proud when you have that long arm quilted by SOMEBODY else. lol, I love to do quilt tops but don't like the overwhelming task of actually quilting it.

I love a good crockpot meal! Also love the idea of themes. Of course, we have the holidays to plan around. There are family birthdays. How about a family reunion theme. Grandmas favorite dishes. We had a favorite uncle who raised the most fabulous watermelons. They were black diamonds. The flesh seemed very red and the rinds were such a dark green that they seemed black. He would go out on reunion weekend and fill the bed of his pickup truck full of melons and take them to the frigid spring cooled watering hole and let them get icy cold. Between the special desserts like Aunt Iona's grape pie and the fabulous watermelons, we never went home hungry!
