For those wondering or asking, yes you can peel the shrimp, then fry. The cooktime will be shorter though. Without the shell, the shrimp will quickly over cook. 😬
Also, when removing the head, the vein comes out. I also pierced through the shell with a toothpick and pulled put any veins that remained. Hope that helps! 😊

But it wasn’t really just salt and pepper. I have a friend she truly makes the best fried chicken wings with flour and salt and black pepper. So simple and good.

The shrimp looks extremely good, looks like a recipe I've been looking for from a Chinese buffet I used to go to, but I've never seen anyone eat shrimp with the shell on before. I would try this very soon, shell off of course. Thank you for this recipe.

We always order this at our local dim sum restaurant. I can eat a couple of shrimp with the shell because that’s where most of the flavor is but do end up peeling the rest of meal😂

Wow. I just cannot imagine eating a shell. I'm near the Chesapeake and people down there are crazy about their soft shell crab sandwiches. Soft or not, a shell is a shell. Ugh.
