I think I’ve given up on trying to make amazing potato tots at home. With a lot of effort you can make a mediocre batch, but they’re just not worth all the work.

I almost peed when you said "You know what else is easy? Grating off a fingertip!". Ive never done the finger tip but took the chunk out of a knuckle once.

450° for 40-45 mins?!! That resulted in burnt potatoes 🙁
I don't know how to covert that from Metric but it should be somewhere around 450° for 20-25 mins (350° for 40-45mins) 🤣

I just made these for brunch and they are good, but it would have been helpful to have the potatoes listed by their weight since the size can vary so much. I also cut back the salt to just 1tsp. and they were still pretty darn salty because of all the parmesan. Next time I will cut the salt back to just 1/4 tsp.
