Hi Connie..firstly love you and love your recipes..you have been a true inspiration and have inspired me to become vegan and stay vegan…after being vegetarian for a few years now.. Anyway my meat looks great…but sometimes I get a little wheaty back taste…do you get this?..if not how do you get rid of it..the first plantain meat I did was perfect..but it was not so ripe..and the meat was perfect. The second one was a little wheaty..haven't tried the pork one but am doing thus today…Thanks again..always striving to be as good as you at the meat..Loads of love from the UK..Chrissie..keep IP the good work.💜💜🙏

Oh my gosh, Connie. I just made it and it is the most delicious meat I've made so far. Tonite I will have it with lemon roast potatoes, green beans and of course include the gravy made from the amazing broth. My VWG was a bit darker than yours so the meat turned out a bit darker but wow! A thousand times thank you for this recipe. To anyone reading this, go make it right now. You won't be disappointed.

I wonder if people understand how incredible you are! The knowledge you give is priceless. Thank you so much for all you do to educate us. The noises in the background are my favorite I’m not gonna even lie. It reminds me of when my sweet beautiful Momma GOD rest her soul, would be cooking in the kitchen. Can you tell me where you pic your eatables? Thank you.

You mentioned plantain meat you made. I don’t know how I missed this, and I cannot find it. Can you share the link with me or the name of the recipe thanks I’m looking forward to trying this one. Going grocery shopping today for more vital wheat gluten ❤️

Connie, I like the consistency, meat should fall apart, what company did you say for those veggie papers. Connie have you ever tried to make a veggie breast of veal. My mother loves veal, so hard to find here in Ct. as always love you and your recipes. Ciao!
