I reached out to a buddy of mine yesterday for a beef stew recipe (the man can cook). He shot over Kent's video here on Cowboy Stew. I made today for the first time and it was money! Everyone loved it! My picky 9 year old son, is not a carrot fan but with Kent's suggestion they were nice and soft and he loved the stew as well. I'll be trying the Mashed Taters recipe next. If that's a hit, I'll most likely be buying his Taste of Cowboy cookbook. Well done, sir.

35 years butcher. Chuck is the best stew meat by far!! Details – which part of the chuck? Their is a strip about 4 inches wide * 10 inches long, that is found just where the chuck is separated from the rib, which is superb!

I'm making this for my husband and me tonight. He's not a cowboy, but he works his tail off! He'll be happy to come home to some thick, beefy stew. Thanks, Mr. Rollins, for this recipe!
