Miss Lori I made this for dinner last night and it was yummy. I have never made corn beef in a pressure cooker but I tell ya it came out so tender I will never go back to boiling corn beef again. Thank you so much!

I really enjoyed this one as I love corn beef and Reubens! We currently only have a crockpot but I have been thinking about getting an instant pot. Are they as easy as everyone says? I grew up with a mother who pressure cooked so many things but I never really learned how since she worked all the time. Would you recommend over my old crockpot? Thank you so much sweetie!

I've heard of The Reuben Sandwich my WHOLE life, but would you believe, I've never had one? I'm still not sure how that's even possible. You certainly made THIS one look amazing! I like corned beef, but I'm not too sure about fermented cabbage. (I could just cook it as normal, and then put it on it, I could do that, but I'll have to think about the fermenting thing. LOL) Thanks for sharing this with us. It DOES look so good! God bless you.

Corned beef looks delicious. Not a big fan of sauerkraut. We put coleslaw on top. When I know I’m going to cook corned beef, I buy a quart of KFC coleslaw. Delicious too.

I cooked some brisket for Rueben's a few weeks ago – cooking up a storm now that I retired to the quarantine lol. It was ok, but I am going to do it again using your recipe – the glaze sounds amazing!! You have also given me the courage to can other things – thank you. I currently can salsa (to die for), peppers in sauce, and hot mustard. But I would love to do some kraut – have to find that video you posted!!! Thank you Mrs. Brown! (Love you She-Shed too!)

Miss Lori, I love rueben’s too! When I get a corned beef brisket I usually cook it in the crock pot, but recently bought an instapot. Thank you for telling me how to do it! Is your video made with a plain beef brisket? If I make it with a corned beef brisket, I won’t need to add the pickling spice, correct? Love your videos! I’m 67 and have cooked for a living, all my life and am still learning!

If you put your rack in the instapot and water is under the rack I wonder about putting liquid smoke in the instapot, I heard that Katz deli smoked their pastrami, I’m interested in trying a pastrami.

Finally my husband showed me how to leave a comment. St. Patrick's Day is our anniversary. 47 years and we will have corned beef and cabbage for dinner. Thanks for showing how to do this in an instant pot. I saw how the meat came apart so easily. Great.

When I used to waitress for extra money this mom & her little boy came in one day & the mom ordered a dinner/supper so I brought a basket of rolls and butter to the table right away along with her coffee & while I was getting her salad she had given her little boy a pumpernickel roll & when I got back I was just in time to hear the boy say mommie I like this chocolate bread lol . When you said you were using bread that had pumpernickel in it that reminded me of that little sweet little boy

I am having the most difficulty with my kraut. Sometimes it comes out perfect and other times (most of the time) it gets white mold and an off smell to it. I must be doing something wrong. Do you have any ideas on what I might be doing wrong and what I need to do to have it turn out good? Thanking you so very much in advance!

I love corned beef, reubens and corned beef hash, but I don't prepackaged corned beef. I brine our briskets for 3 days in pickling spices with a half of bottle of malt vinegar.

Apple cider is good to use also instead of beer. Drop some cabbage , carrots and potatoes in the leftover broth. This looks so good. It has been a while since I had corned beef. May have to go and see what may be available.
