    Put the meat in the skillet but leave it alone for 2 or 3 minutes, let it brown!! Don't keep moving it around. It also helps to season both sides of your meat. Browned/burned the butter too much and didn't brown the meat enough.

    You should wash the meat and vegetables before adding it to the crock pot. Also, you don’t need to cook it on the stove. Just trying to save you a step Lol. I was wondering how the meat tasted with the seasoning?? You didn’t say.

    I was so hungry. Until I saw. Your husband's shirtless body. And maybe next time add some onions and celery. And never use a jar of gravy.
    Take that crock pot juice. Add some flour. Sauteed that for a couple of minutes beautiful thick gravy

    I'm going to try this was actually looking for a different way to do this in crock besides using Lipton onion soup mix and a little water! I'll try searing it also like you did yours looked tender mine usually kinda tough! lol
