don't you have a food processer?Β  this would make it a breeze!..Β  love your video just the same..i used to make scotch broth soup years ago chopping and chopping on and onΒ  till I got a processor, and noe it is a breeze.. another wonderful thing to include is turnip and parsnip and swede and pumpkin all pulverized in the food processor..Β  give it a go!

Btw, I love how your video moves along swiftly! Sooo many of them drag on and on as if they are speaking to children or people who have never cooked a meal. Thanks for that!

I really loved this style video from you! I love having new dinner ideas. Also, onions.. For real, I actually keep a pair of safety goggles in my kitchen junk drawer bc I can’t handle the sting in my eyes when I’m cutting onions. It’s extreme. I literally can’t even keep my eyes open otherwise.

Omg, make videos on your instant pot recipes, please!!! I have one and can’t figure it out. Every recipe has been a major thumbs down and I can’t justify $130 hard boiled egg maker. That’s just not my life. Help! Ribs! Yum!

I looove my instant pot but have never had success with the slow cooker mode. I’d just pop that on pressure cook for like 15 min and your barley would be perfect, beef tender, and flavour poppin’!!!!!

The soup looks delicious! Love my Instant Pot, but mine ain't instant either! Hahaha! I do appreciate the fact that it is "quiet" compared to the non-electric pressure cookers I had in the past! That alone makes it totally worth it for me! β™₯ Jenny

Not entirely convinced about the insta pot bc that recipe is pretty much the same in a pan haha. I love it though that you're using one pot basically and it is looking yummy. If you want to save time but make a few more dishes, use your food processor, slice blade for onions and it'll make thin strips, same for carrots, slice blade will make you some thin rounds for the soup super fast, then grate blade for tatos (might want to trial it and use a larger grater blade. Onions still give off the eye burning gas when you use the food processor but it's a shorter insult then if you have to slice slice slice. I am tempted to open it up and RUN b/c I hate hate the eye burn from onions. Another idea my friend does is making premade batches of Mirpoix (carrots/celery/onions) and baggy them in doses common to typical recipes. Then your work is partially done ahead. πŸ™‚ You did great though and made an amazing meal and that's the most important thing. I have a few amazing soup recipes I'd love to send you or send links. Not sure of an email contact tho.

You may have already filmed and posted this but you introduced me to the yummiest broccoli cheddar soup! So delicious, my boyfriend is obsessed! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you and Dean in the kitchen TOGETHER <3 though understand this may be difficult with both of you working and having children, LOL! Just love the two of you and you're right, "Mind the Gap" is one of my favourites too!

Podcast s3e1 Loved it…didn't want it to end. I really appreciated what you said about babies, doubt, openess to working on difficult relationships…so much gold in this episode. I think Dean leaves tasks slightly unfinished like bread crumbs so you 'know he has been there' at least that is what I try to convince myself about my husband…do they ALL do this? Or only the good ones? Lol.πŸ™ƒ

Hi,you have to print it with the adgestment for the time or taste,so you can do your own recipes journal. I put them in plastic bags and then binder, like school binder/bender(sorry for my english)so when you want to do it again…πŸ˜‰. Also you can chope the onions, garlic, all that and put in plastic bags and freeze,i do a bag fool of onions so i have already choped for use πŸ˜‰ because is expensive to buy it already choped, but you can do it by yourself πŸ˜‰ oh i have a lot of tips for saving time and money when cooking πŸ˜‰ if you enjoy i will give some of themπŸ™‚ bye from Italy
