Cooking a Frozen Chicken has never been easier. This recipe is for one chicken and some delicious sauce to serve it with. I also include a recipe for rice cooked in the Instant Pot.

Always cook your chicken to an internal temperature of 165F. A simple test is to twist the leg bone out. It should come free with a light twist.

    Yes I agree you should do more recipes with the instant pot been looking at getting one but not sure if I'm going to know how to use it all the videos I watch a lot of people are struggling with the instant pot you are very straight to the point on the settings like that very much and how to use thank you for the info

    Hope you removed the giblets consisting of the heart, neck, and gizzard inside the bird before you froze it and dropped it into the Instant Pot in a frozen. state.
    I always remove that and then freeze the whole chicken.

    Do yourself a favor and learn to use a conventional pressure cooker. 1/3 the price. FAR easier to clean. After cleaning this trendy contraption a couple of times, it's easy to talk yourself out of using it and instead microwaving a burrito.
