Why do you not show how to clean up around the crisper lid, we all know that it builds up inside there, Is it alright to remove the shield, clean and then replace the shield? Showing further deep cleaning of this area will help all of us tremendously!

A group I belong to says to fill the pot with water, hit the saute button till it starts to steam, place some lemons and close the lid for a few minutes. Then wipe the crisper lid with a mr. clean sponge to get the gook and buildup off.

So I used my Ninja foodi for airfrying and it's great. One problem is that a sticky residue seems to be slowly appearing on the surface of the airfrying inner pot. Do you know how I can clean that off? I've been using just dawn soap and water.
