To microwave we just fold a paper plate horizontal use scissors to cut slits, unfold plate, fold again vertically cut slits then unfold. Works so much better than paper towels. Will be able to be used over and over to various size containers. When soiled toss, cut another paper plate.

Honey would have been my answer!!. Usually I just catch your Costco hauls. I had major surgery just before the pandemic hit and I just got to start physical therapy recently. So I send someone shopping for me and it's so hard To find the prices at Costco's, even on sale items.
I've also use honey instead of the orange sauce at trader joe's amazing orange chicken. It's good but sometimes you need to change

You cover your food with plastic wrap or a paper towel. Put the plastic lid on top of the dish covered with plastic wrap for travel and heat without the lid on.

Paper towel over the top of anything you put in your microwave is a no-brainer otherwise you’ll be cleaning your microwave every single time a paper towel is 100% safe and effective
