Have that spice profile with a traditional potato doughnut as these were (and still) are used for more savory than sweet add-ons (as sugar was a luxury item back in the day). Like cheese, meat, mushrooms, various herbs.😊

One time my friends and I decided to put nori strips on glazed donuts because that’s what we had for snacks on that trip. Surprisingly good! I’m going to have to do that again. It’s been too long 😂
