    Grated cheese at home vs. the already grated cheese in a bag makes a huge difference. The pre-grated cheese has a plastic chemical coating that prevents the cheese from clumping back together in shipment. It also reduces the melting point. The bag stuff doesn't melt right. And the plastic coating makes the cheese taste bland.
