So the same thing happened to my batter as always does when I fry 2-3 chiles at a time. The batter gets watery at the bottom of the bowl and doesn’t maintain all the fluffiness. Had I put it all together at once it would have but since I needed to put some in the bottom of baking dish it took about 5 mins. to stuff the chili’s. Luckily I had just enough batter on the top to use but the initial batter consistency was best. In the oven now. Will report back. Still a lot of work!!

Love all your recipes! And I’m making this tonight. I probably won’t get an answer in the next hour. But it says on here enough for 2 casserole dishes? But I only saw you use one casserole dish. Just wanted to clarify. I was going to use a 13×9 Pan and add 2-3 more chiles to compensate.

I really enjoy your channel and would love to recreate many of your recipes but find it hard to find the recipes. When I do find them, it is impossible to copy and retain them for my records or help while shopping for ingredients or reference while cooking. I would be SO helpful if you would provide a like to the recipes that we could copy. Just a helpful thought that I feel many would appreciate. Thanks and enjoy the channel.

Not quite sure why you put chilies in your tomato sauce after going to all the trouble of taking the seeds and veins out of the Poblano chilies. I hope this recipe tastes reasonably close to traditional chiles rellenos, because I am not very good at cleaning the chilies without tearing them and them needing to put 2 toothpicks per chile to keep them closed. Just bought 10 Poblanos today, but I already have a recipe for them so I'll have to wait to make this. Chiles rellenos are one of my favorite foods!

This looks great. I think the only thing I would do different is to chop the chile so that it would be easier to cut with your fork on the plate I don’t think you would notice texturally once it was cooked. 🤔
