We cut up fresh cabbage and add to our individual bowls to eat.
And agreed with another comment, add your peppers in a blender and strain then add! My mom cooks hers on the stove top till they get soft then she blends and drains.

The only thing I would change is adding a blender and strainer for the guajillo peppers, onions and tomatoes (instead of tomato paste). Makes a world of difference since the flavor goes directly to the broth/soup and you don't get annoying chile skins when eating. At the end of the day you enjoyed it, and that is what matters. Looked delicious, liked your spin on the recipe!

Hey Huss, I got to hand it to you for trying… I don't mean to hate but like you, I want to educate. First real Pozole would not be made with butter, tomato paste, green chili or any chili powder. I know everyone make theirs different, just like BBQ, different regions have their way with none being any better or right, just a preference and also what grandma and mom made. Lately I have been on a green chili version of Pozole which from what I hear is from New Mexico because of their Hatch chili that they grow in that area. I am 3rd generation Hispanic from Southern California, my family is from Mexico. Lucky for me, I took it upon myself to learn from my mom a lot of recipes before she passed. When I cook for my dad the best compliment I get from him are the empty food containers that come back because he says that I cook just like my mom, my sisters on the other hand wonder why he doesn't finish the food that they make for him, just sayin. I wish I could pop over and show you my recipe for Pozole, it does take time to make but well worth the wait. Again, I only want to educate my friend. Keep up the great videos. FYI, my Blackstone is still in the box. one of these days, one of these days.

Dang, Huss!! You could cook socks and tires and you'd make it look awesome! You could've named this DD Chicken Pozole with the size of those chicken parts. This video was almost "Not Safe For Work". ๐Ÿ˜€ Love watching your Blackstone vids, and this was no exception. I really appreciate your mise en place efforts. It makes cooking so much more enjoyable when you've done all the prep work right. You've come a long ways since the first videos. Keep it up brother. Your work is really appreciated. PEACE!
