One of my favorites! Texas has no tarp leaves. I’ll need to order frozen leaves
For all da papolos watching this is Hawaiian collard greens
I love ur channel! Do u have a restaraunt?
You made my mouth water. I’m from Hawaii and Chicken Luau is one of my favorite dishes besides lomi lomi Salmon and Kalua Pig. I was ready to have you dish some Chicken Luau on to my plate. You did a great job with your video. Congratulations, I’m homesick too!
If you break the leaves a part it will cook faster
Yummy! We call it holo. Frm a small atol of png.😍😍😍
I would like to point out that the word "Lūʻau" actually refers to the taro leaf itself, so if you make lūʻau out of anything besides taro leaf, it is not lūʻau.
I've been looking for a recipe using beef or pork for this instead of squid or chicken. Can I just substitute beef or pork for the chicken?
Mahalo Aunty for your tip. i will be making a big pot of squid luau for my wedding coming up on the 8th of this month. again Mahalo nui loa
looks delicious. now I'm ono for it. thank you for sharing
I just made some chicken luau using the frozen bag of cooked luau (using the recipe on the bag). I wish I had watched your video first, as I probably could've squeezed out the liquid and added a little bit of sugar. Mahalo for a nice video. If you ever make anything with chantilly frosting, I'd love to watch that video. I can't seem to get the frosting to thicken right.
Wow who sings at the end? Beautiful voice. Thanks for sharing!
