This is not the authentic way to prepare this dish, it's chef way of preparing chicken kondattam.
The original recipe doesn't use corn flour, Maida or sauces… It's more chilli chicken with fried cocunut than kondattam.
From Kerala
Its kon-daaa-tum but sadly pronounced here as kundathum lmao
Wonderful preparation π.
Oh my god. Just today I bought chicken and the shopkeeper's look was exactly like him though he was not as sweet as you. And today I prepared my chicken kind of bengali chilli chicken. But this dish is very delicious I think. Will try someday.

"the reason were using coconut in this dish is because coconut has spiritual importance in Kerala"
facepalm
By that logic, why don't you add sandalwood paste also, even that has spiritual significance.
Awesome recipe. I am seeing your recipe for the first time. I must say amazing presentation.
Wow
What an amazing video once again π keep it up Chef Prateek Dhawanππ
Chef that looks absolutely delicious! Is the Soy sauce in the original recipe because of the Chinese influence? Also noticed your dosa is a bit thick. Does it have to be flipped to cook on both sides when it's that thick? Thanks!
this chiken serve with fried rice then enjoing alotππππππ
Looks close to the original version…
Request the chef to pronounce the colloquial way, the same way the malayalees pronounce it…
Cheers…
Looks delicious π
