Tammy, I made this tonight and my family LOVED it!! I made it with sheet pan zucchini and summer squash. I thought for sure someone would ask where the potatoes, rice or pasta was, but no one did! I make chicken Marsala a lot ….Thin fried chic breast , lots of sliced mushrooms and onion in Marsala wine and chic broth ….i think you would like it . Even if you don’t like to cook with wine or sherry you will prob like Marsala wine !!

This reminds me of a dish I’ve made for yrs called Chicken Picatta. Have you tried that? It’s basically the same with🍋lemon, except no egg, and I sautée onions instead of mushrooms. It’s so yummy too! But I’m definitely trying this one next time I can get some mushrooms.:) 👍❤️😘

hi Tammy. If I mat ofer a trip on your stove…I have the same type and your app is set over the line that defines the smaller from larger burner the larger one will heat up as well. I found that as long as I set the pot or pan on burner inside the line I had better results if I only wanted the smaller burner on. once the pam overlaps at all the sensor for the larger heats up. hope this helps and I thank ou for all you do and really enjoy learning from you and Chris!!!

I have a comment about your front, right burner. My last stove was a GE glasstop stove. It had a front burner that looked like yours with two rings on it…, one for very large pans and one for a smaller pan. If I turned the burner nob clockwise, it activated the larger ring. If I turned the burner nob counter clockwise, it activated the smaller ring. Maybe yours works the same…?

The burner or eye on your new stove cools down fairly quick. That's great for electric. I hope to have gas in my new home, but if I don't I will be sure to have a smooth top range. I'm a messy cook. Good cook, but messy. You are a terrific cook. I have to watch the tour of your new home. Haven't had a chance as yet. I'll be trying this, but this week I'm making cabbage rolls with sauerkraut more commonly known as Sarmas.

If you aren't going to drink the wine, don't cook with it. Cooking wine is loaded with salt and is a lower grade wine to begin with. Wine should be an accent to the dish, so only use a little.

I don't like wine or beer so I don't cook with either. I've always been told to not cook with cast iron on glass tops because it can cause them to crack. I made homemade tzatziki sauce, beef souvlaki and spinach orzo the other night. I was hoping for leftovers for lunch but NOPE the boys ate it all. We love Greek Food.

I will make this. Also, I am wondering how do you like cooking on a flat top stove? I was scared of my flat top. The pans would move and turn while cooking, especially at boiling point. Leveled… yes. That was short lived. Couldn't cook in fear! BTW, thank you for another great recipe and I see you're in your new home. Congrats!
