Sorry roasting the garlic like that didnt work for you. I use a spray of extra virgin olive oil so maybe the moisture helps with the skin. Your garlic looked dry so maybe add some water so they stay a little moist. I also cut my garlic bulb in half and none goes to waste because it's easier to squeeze it all out for me.
If you like your way better, I say do what works best for you.
I have noticed in some of your videos that you ask to not be bashed for buying in bulk, etc. Why do you even need to say that? Are people bashing you? I am sorry if they are because we all need to do what works in our homes without criticizing one another. The things you YouTubers have to deal with….not sure I could do it so kudos to you. You are always so nice.
I wish I could eat carbs like you. Your bowl looked so delicious.
    Thanks for sharing.

This whole meal prep looks so good. I will be making the breakfast bars this weekend for sure! I happen to love the bulk section, and I use the cups of applesauce all the time. They are 1/2 cup which is perfect for most of my recipes, and then I don't have to worry about an open jar spoiling. Gas in Michigan has dropped to $3.95 for my area, but my grocery prices are getting ridiculous. I'm glad it's almost time to put my garden in!

I can't believe people have such strong opinions on everything, that's crazy! 😕

My husband and I also grew our family through adoption. We adopted two kids (siblings) through foster care when they were toddlers. (Somehow they are teens now. Trust me the years really fly like everyone says.) I can't even explain the amount of joy you will feel on the day your child officially becomes yours..there are no words! Praying that blessing comes soon for you two. ❤

Totally relate to freezing at the grocery store. Almost any store in the summer, really. The AC is blasting! I am jealous that you are wearing a tank top outside the store though – it's still snowing in the Midwest!
Your carrot bars look sooo delicious. They would be a nice change from the carrot muffins I make.
I love pinto beans and make them every week. Rice too. They are so easy in the instapot.
Looking forward to seeing the next step of your journey. You will be the most awesome parents. You'll be laughing together every day! 😘

Love your videos! And I’m so happy for you and your hubby on your adoption journey. Do you have a gofundme or something that your subscribers can donate toward adoption costs? I mean, if half your subscribers donated even just $1, you’d make a big dent. Just food for thought. 🙂

I look forward to these videos every week. I feel like you could make budget videos for the rest of your life. Next will be budget meals for a family of (insert #). Looking forward to you sharing your journey to parenthood. I know how it feels to want to be a mother and having that journey be harder than what seems like everyone else’s. You will be parents very soon and I can’t wait to see the smiles on your faces when that finally happens.

People seriously have to comment on you using bulk items? If that’s all people have to worry about they are lucky. I’m so sorry that you have to put up with those petty comments.
