Can just put them in boiled water to separate the frozen noodles
i don't fancy cockles but it imparts a flavour to the dish. so I'll normally just remove them before eating the dish

OMG, this reminds me of Chinese Chow Fun! I love it when my mom and SIL cook it. Here in SoCal, we have a lot of Vietnamese grocery stores so we do get the rice noodles and I think I will make chow fun for dinner tonight. Yum!!
This looks really good, Flo. Gotta find where to get those noodles here in Roseville, CA
So if it does stick do we just add a 1/2-1 tsp of oil?

Dried funn is usually made of wheat. It is okay.
Love the ABC sauce (kecap manis). It's so versatile in cooking. I use it in American dishes, too. Yum!
Your hair cut is so nice on you. ❤️
Hey Dude, don't dismiss cockles! They're just a small relative of clams and scallops 😋. Since you guys are in southeast Asian mode, have you ever done a version of Bami Goreng?
