    i love liver and onions and never had mushrooms and liver but i am going to try for sure, there is a lot less carbs in mushrooms than in onions thanks for the recipe, here where i live you can buy calf liver in single serving with 4 to a packages that makes it great not having to cook the whole package like it use to be

    Try cutting your liver into bite size pieces before it’s thawed out. Then quickly stir fry it with your mushrooms onions etc. Don’t overcook it. And you won’t need as much if any water! Takes less time. Cooked quicker, it stays softer, more tender.

    I have been reading that with beef liver, you should rinse it off and soak in milk. Do you do this or any variation of this step being keto? I am keto also, and have been wanting to make liver and onions. However, I don't like milk. Plz help. 😏
