I have made the green chicken Verde out of that same book and we love it! We either eat it as a soup or I will take the meat out for chicken enchiladas and use the broth for rice. I have also made the kimchi from the same book with a few changes, so glad ball has updated their canning books for us experienced canners 🥰

I've canned pulled pork 3 times now, enough to make 7 quarts each time. Every load had at least one fail from siphoning and I've found 3 fails on the shelf after storing them. From now on I will make smaller batches and use them faster.

I just absolutely adore your pressure canning videos. I have that cookbook but I have a hard time with just the written directions. I do much better if I see the process first. I can't wait to can pulled pork ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I had 2 pork butts in my freezer that I got on sale last summer for about .39/pound. Thanks to you Miss Pam I turned it into 11 pints of pulled pork. Thank you for the video and recipe!

Of the Nesco and the Instant Pot Max, which is your favorite? I've been trying to decide between the two. Had ordered the Max but cancelled it until I watched your video collecting the data on the Nesco, now I'm leaning toward the Nesco.

Rats! I just watched this and the sale on pork loins is over… Next time they are on sale, I am SO making this recipe! Thank you so much for sharing! I just got my Carey pressure canner and I've done carrots and dried beans so far! I'm having fun!

Oh Pam..I made 8 pints from a 10# pork roast of this earlier (it had a large f@t cap on it, which I removed). It did siphon a bit but it smelled so amazing in here. I'm waiting for the canner to cool down so I can clean it out. Thanks so much for sharing. They all sealed within about 15 mins after I took them out of the canner.

Dear Pam and Jim. First of all, thank you for such useful information on all things canning. I watched the pulled pork pressure canning video and have a question I haven’t been able to find an answer for. We try to limit sugar in our diet and was wondering if it’s safe to pressure can pork with sugar free BBQ sauce such as Walden Farms brand. Thank you!
