Personally, I don't eat any sugary fruit. I just can't go down that road. But I wouldn't criticize anyone else for eating it. We have to figure out what works for each of us individually. There's many ways to do keto/ketovore/carnivore successfully. I hope everyone is able to find their own success!
The problem is in the American diet, the perception was that fruits are good for you and the more, the better. Science now says sugar from fruits is the same as any other sugar. I hate that finding. Hoping for more research 😂. I fast and eat keto however, I’ve substituted fruit as an occasional after dinner dessert.
If you eat fruit, eat it separately from other food and earlier in the day. The reason for this is that fruit requires separate digestive conditions, wants to move through your digestive system at a faster rate than meat and eating carbs and fat at the same time is a bad idea.

Every once in a great while I will buy blackberries or strawberries, but they don't trigger me at all. In fact, I very rarely even finish what I buy and end up throwing the rest out because it just goes bad. Then it will be quite a while before I buy anymore again.

Fruit made me fat too, when I tried vegan. Yep, that happened!

I bought cherries 3x this season. The rest of my family were only able to get 1 serving out of each. I ate the rest in less than a day each time! I CANNOT eat fruit! 😢
