Sorry for the delayed upload this week. As you can see, we escaped the city for a few days and enjoyed our time in nature with some good friends. And, of course, we ate well! Have a great week! 💕

First, I like your haircut Flo.
You guys work well together and these camp meals look so good.
In California we would find most of our food in the mountains. Fishing for trout, deer hunting, duck hunting, herbs & mushrooms in the forest. Cooking on a campfire is so comforting.
    Nice recipes Flo.

For 25 years tent camped in the UP of Michigan and WI north woods, would spend two weeks there, that was my drug, loved it there. Fishing camping and exploring the various counties within 15 miles. When you talk about a lot of work….2 days to get tent, cook tent and all tarps set. God it was and is so beautiful. Enjoy.

Lovely campsite! We camp a LOT. And although I’m always ok with a good hot dog with fixins, I love trying out new things. I have a flat top griddle for camp use—and a little 2-burner stove. Never heard of a skottle before—pretty cool! Where were you camping, by the way? Lovely waterfront site!

Great video. Too many people are scared away from camping and sometimes it is due to cooking. Don't be scared … just replicate what you do at home. It's quite easy. We often raid the salad bar at grocery stores for individual ingredients. The cost per pound of items is cheaper than canned versions, and they often come with seal-able containers. Also, when making pancakes with blueberries, blackberries, etc, sprinkle on some ground up graham crackers and they taste like cobblers!

Hi Flo- happy that you’re spending time with Mother Earth! Getting out of the house and into nature sounds great!

Of course the food looks amazing. I’m sure it tastes amazing also. I always have my “camping recipes” too. Simple. Good. That skottle (spelling) is pretty cool!

Btw: you look really, really great with the short hair cut! Darling on you. Your hair now is pretty too.

God Bless the Lum’s! Enjoy your camping trip!

I love camping! When we were young, we lived in Colorado! Family, friends and animals all loved everything about camping. Every adult would sit around the fire and take turns cooking right on it. We loved river coffee, just a name for cooking the grounds in the water. We all became experts at river coffee. 😆🤣😂 Brings back so many good memories (1973-1977). Thank you for renewing my memories ❤♥!
